A Diamond Choral Snapshot–1946-2021

The Georgia Tech Chamber Choir will present its fall choral concert on Sunday, November 14 at 3.00 PM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta.

Titled, A Diamond Choral Snapshot–1946-2021, the concert will feature both sacred and secular works composed during that era. Compositions include Lamentations of Jeremiah Op. 44 by Alberto Ginastera, Poulenc Gloria, two works by conductor Jerry Ulrich, and Only in Sleep by Ēriks Ešenvalds. The choir will be accompanied by student musicians, as well as organist Dr. Hannah Byun.

Admission is free, and all audience members are urged to have been appropriately vaccinated prior to attendance.

Audition Info

Auditions for Fall 2021 will be from 2:00–7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24th. The audition includes a basic music theory and vocal technique quiz, All-State level sight-reading, tonal memory and vocalization exercises, and a short interview. Please note that there is no solo requirement.

Location is TBA (likely West Village or the Couch building), but we will let everyone who signs up for an audition know as soon as those details have been determined.
