Fall Concert

Join us on Sunday, November 13 at 3:00pm for our fall concert: The Mystery of Life, Love, and Death - In Song. We will sing a variety of secular works exploring the themes of life and death, including one piece by our own director Dr. Ulrich. The concert will take place in Georgia Tech's Kendeda Living Building, and light refreshments will be served afterwards.

Fall 2022 Auditions Sign-Up

Chamber Choir will be holding auditions for the 2022-2023 academic year on August 22-23, 2022 (Monday and Tuesday). Audition time slots will be available from 2:00 to 6:00 PM both days. You may sign up for an audition using this form. Please plan for your audition to take approximately one hour. Please note that priority may be given to those who audition on August 22, so please choose this date if your schedule allows. Chamber Choir rehearsals will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:15 PM. We apologize that many official School of Music sources list our rehearsal times differently, and we are working to correct this. We look forward to hearing you sing soon!

A Diamond Choral Snapshot–1946-2021

The Georgia Tech Chamber Choir will present its fall choral concert on Sunday, November 14 at 3.00 PM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta.

Titled, A Diamond Choral Snapshot–1946-2021, the concert will feature both sacred and secular works composed during that era. Compositions include Lamentations of Jeremiah Op. 44 by Alberto Ginastera, Poulenc Gloria, two works by conductor Jerry Ulrich, and Only in Sleep by Ēriks Ešenvalds. The choir will be accompanied by student musicians, as well as organist Dr. Hannah Byun.

Admission is free, and all audience members are urged to have been appropriately vaccinated prior to attendance.

Audition Info

Auditions for Fall 2021 will be from 2:00–7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24th. The audition includes a basic music theory and vocal technique quiz, All-State level sight-reading, tonal memory and vocalization exercises, and a short interview. Please note that there is no solo requirement.

You can sign-up for an audition on this spreadsheet. Once you have chosen a timeslot, please also fill out our information survey to help us collect some helpful information!

Location is TBA (likely West Village or the Couch building), but we will let everyone who signs up for an audition know as soon as those details have been determined.
